I have been leading the Worship Ministry at Temple Baptist for the past 16 years, and have been in worship ministry for over 30 years. At a young age, I knew God had a plan for me and music would be in that plan. But, I never dreamed He would be using me in the capacity that I am in right now. I was born and raised in West Point, just miles from Temple Baptist. In the early 90's my family moved to Hartselle where my dad pastored for almost 20 years. Growing up a preacher's kid, I knew I wanted to serve the Lord as I had seen my dad do for so many years. 

After graduating from Hartselle High School in 1996, I attended Wallace State and Athens State on music scholarships. In 2000, I married the love of my life Trina Halbrooks and in 2004 we welcomed our daughter Jayla. Our family enjoys beach & mountain trips, cruises, spending time with our families and any type of music events. 

When I am not here at the church or with family, I own/operate my own pest control company. I enjoy crawling under homes and helping people with their pest control issue which ties into helping to serve those that God allows for me to lead as worship pastor.
