I spent my early years in Fairview, Alabama, but in 1984 my family moved to Addison, where I later graduated from Addison High School in 1991. Shortly after graduation, I joined the U.S. Army and proudly served for 10 years, both here at home and overseas. After leaving the Army, life took me to many different places, but in 2007 I finally made my way back home to Cullman, Alabama.
That same year, I began attending Temple Baptist Church, and in January of 2008 I trusted Christ as my Savior and joined the church. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of serving in several different ministries.
I met my wife, Adrienne, in 2008, and that same year she trusted Christ as her Savior right here at Temple Baptist Church. We were married in 2009, and God has blessed us with four wonderful children—Ashley, Michalah, Seth, and Elliot.
God also opened the door for my family and me to partner with Unsheltered International, a ministry dedicated to reaching the homeless and forgotten. Since it began in 2010, the ministry has continued to grow, and I’m grateful to have had even a small part in what God is doing through it.
In December of 2020, I was asked to serve as the Campus Pastor at Temple Baptist Fairview. By faith, I stepped out of my semi-truck and into that role. Today, I serve as the Guest Services Pastor back home at the Cullman Campus.
Serving the Lord together as a family is one of the greatest joys of our lives. If you ever have the opportunity to visit, I would love to meet you, pray with you, and personally welcome you to Temple!
