About Life Groups
At Temple Baptist Church, our desire is to help every person move beyond attending a worship service and into a Life Group where they can grow in their faith and build meaningful relationships.
We believe Life Groups are one of the primary places where spiritual growth happens. Although every Life Group looks a little different, each one is committed to cultivating genuine relationships where people are known, loved, prayed for, and supported.
God never intended for us to follow Him alone.
Life Groups are where the Church becomes the Church.
- loving one another, bearing one another's burdens, and growing together in Christ.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Life Group?
A life group is typically made up of eight to fourteen people who meet regularly during the week to share about their lives and support one another. Each group has a leader. Groups meet in a number of different locations around Cullman County, including coffee shops, restaurants, the church and work places, but typically they meet in homes. Most groups meet weekly during evening hours and some meet in the morning or afternoon. Our goal is to accommodate the different needs of those in our church by offering a variety of options.
When Do They Meet?
Life Groups meet at all different times during the week. You get to choose the best and most convenient time for you and your family. Groups meet every night of the week, even on Saturdays & Sundays.
What do Life Groups do?
This can vary from group to group, but the main focus of every group is to provide prayer and care for the group members. Some groups choose to eat before or after their meeting, some don't. All groups consist of the following elements: praise, message discussions, and prayer.
